No, YOGHSOAP® will not dry out your skin. On the contrary, it will moisturize, soften, and refresh it due to its high content of natural glycerin in the soap (8%), the additional raw oils, and full-fat sour milk, whose unsaponified fatty acids are absorbed directly by the skin. Therefore, it is suitable for people with very dry or sensitive skin. No hardeners, chelators, foaming agents, or other synthetic components are added.

The pH level of YOGHSOAP® ranges from 8 to 10, while human skin maintains a pH between 4.5-5.5, known as the "acid mantle." This layer protects the skin from harmful elements in the environment. Natural soap effectively cleanses the skin by attracting fats, dirt, and microbes from the skin, which are then rinsed away with water, while simultaneously moisturizing the skin. After rinsing, the skin naturally restores its pH balance after about 2-3 hours. Moisturizing products like YOGHBODY® body oil accelerate the restoration of the skin's protective mantle.

Huge: these are fundamentally different products. Industrial soaps focus on quantity rather than quality. They are machine-made from cheap palm oil, aggressive chemicals, and synthetic additives, potentially harmful to the skin. Glycerin - the natural moisturizing derivative in natural soap - is extracted from commercial versions to be sold as an ingredient in the cosmetic industry. Therefore, these soaps are abrasive, harsh, and drying to the skin. Handmade soaps made by the cold process method contain various oils in their unprocessed form. The moisturizing glycerin remains in the soap. In YOGHSOAP® soaps, we add additional oil so that the finished product has an excess of fatty acids that the skin absorbs directly. Our soap matures for 4 weeks.

Industrial soap is easily recognizable by its composition, appearance, and price. Most industrial soaps have the following ingredients: Sodium palmate, Aqua, Sodium Palm Kernelate, Parfum, Palm Acid, Glycerin, Palm Kernel Acid, Sodium Chloride, Parfum, Tetrasodium EDTA, Tetrasodium Etidronate, and so on. This is a standard, basic formula with artificial fragrances, dyes, and other ingredients allowed by law, but with no real benefit for your skin. These soaps are mass-produced by extrusion machines. In appearance, they all look the same: they are rough, crumbly, and smooth.
High-quality natural soap is cold-processed with several oils and scented with essential oils. Be suspicious if a soap is advertised as natural and handmade using the cold process method but is cheap. In the market, you may encounter overpriced soaps (over 15-20 BGN or more) that are neither natural nor handmade. These are industrial masquerades that, under glossy packaging, push mediocre soap as luxurious.
